AU History: (CW: abuse mention)

• Basically, instead of being royalty beloved(?) by the whole world, the Damashii family is simply very wealthy and well-known in social circles.
  
• His father comes from money and is originally from an island known as Himawari located in the south Pacific (Carrie notes: can just make this a city in Hawaii if need be?) He inherited the family business from Ouji’s grandpa, a prestigious and cutting edge aerospace organization that studies space travel and engineers ships and satellites known as AllCosmos. It’s, idk, it’s sort of like halfway between NASA and Space X? Lol
  
• Mother is a loving housewife from a modest household. The two met when they were youngsters during father's rebellious youth.
  
• The family only recently moved to Yumemigaoka, specifically because Ouji awoke as a dreamer. He tried to keep it a secret but is a terrible liar :’) And so! Ouji’s whole life has been unceremoniously uprooted to a brand new place with little say in the matter. There’d probably be a big to-do in the media about the Damashii family moving to the city and buying up a big fancy mansion or whatever the heck
  
• Ouji is the sole heir to the family name and fortune. He lives in his father's shadow and is trying very very hard to live up to everyone’s expectations for him.
  
• Father is both VERY capricious and VERY strict and known to be very verbally and occasionally even physically abusive towards him. He often makes messes that Ouji has to clean up, literally and metaphorically.
  
• Has a huge extended family spread out throughout Japan and is often compared to his cousins.

AU Personality:

• Ouji is basically the same as his canon personality, just fleshed out more clearly and obviously now a human boy instead of an itty bitty alien boy. He is still quite small, though; only ~4'8" and less than 100 pounds.
  
• Shy and quiet, but very kind and curious. Opens up around friends (but that requires having friends :’) …)
  
• Extremely polite and proper.
  
• A total pushover doormat. Apologizing constantly for fear of upsetting someone. This stems from the way that his father treats him.
  
• Absolutely adores space and astronomy. Really good at identifying stars and constellations.
  
• Secretly really wants to be appreciated as himself, not just as the AllCosmos heir.

• Enjoys hero shows like Ultraman (or whatever the equivalent in this world is. It was Jumboman in Katamari.)
  
• Likes watching sumo wrestling
  
• Favorite number is 7 (especially 7777!)
  
• Varied and eccentric taste in music

• Just a bit of trivia: Ouji's hairstyle is based on the Prince's "wig" present in the original Katamari Damacy.
